28th September : Adcote Funride
This year, the ride will follow a new scenic route towards Hopton Hill and The Cliffe. The ride will include over 40 well-constructed, optional jumps and some river crossings (also optional). Jumps have been specially designed to suit all abilities. There is also a well signposted shorter lead rein route available for children. The ride is fully marshalled, and a doctor, vet and farrier will be on duty throughout the day. A photographer will also be on the course.Refreshments will be on sale all day. The ride starts at 10am. Last riders out 2pm. The ride starts and finishes in the superb grounds of Adcote School near Little Ness, north west of Shrewsbury, just three miles from the A5 and 1.5 miles from Baschurch. Adults: £15, children under 14: £10 . Adcote Fun Ride supports Prince Harry’s “Sentbale” (Forget-Me-Not) Charity.
