Brave ladies ride bra back to support Breast Cancer!


Sunday 17th August, saw a group of brave ladies ride across Salisbury Plain in just their bras to raise funds for Breast Cancer Campaign. This was the first ever Bra Back Ride and founder Selaine Messem of LessBounce.com, the sports bra company was delighted:

“We wanted to test the idea close to our offices to see if we can roll it out nationally next year. A great big thank you to all the ladies who took part! We expect to have raised £1000 from the 10 ladies who rod which is a fantastic achievement”

Netheravon based sports bra company, LessBounce.com are not new to charitable events having already raised over £300K for breast cancer charities through Pink Aerobics. If you would like to get involved and support Breast Cancer Campaign, Pink Aerobics comes to Salisbury on Saturday 25th October 2008.

Director of Fundraising at Breast Cancer Campaign, Amanda Williams explained how important it was for women to be breast aware and take part in events like the bra back ride “Every year almost 46,000 new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in the UK. We believe that research is the start of the solution, to build a brighter future for people with breast cancer. Supporters everywhere can do their bit and help raise vital funds by taking part in the Bra Back Ride 2008”.
