County Representatives
Position: County Representative
Position Type: Voluntary basis
Description: As a representative, we would like you to become actively involved in finding as many Funrides taking place in your county and to see if any more can be organised. It is also important for you to get in touch with local riders and organisations, encouraging people to get out and enjoy a ride and meet up. You may receive queries and questions from riders whom may want to know what rides are on in your area.
The ideal representative: Ideal representatives will have experience in the equine industry, preferably with representative skills and/or Club management experience. Must be friendly, approachable, active, confident, encouraging, organised and most of all enjoy getting equestrian folk together to have a good time.
YOUR ROLE
As a representative you will receive…
Representative welcome pack, discount on FunridesUK clothing, Availability to purchase FunridesUK polo, Editorial space in the news section regards your county online.(Depends on availability), Name and contact on the representative list.
Annual Representative Meeting
It is hoped that once a larger group of rep's join us, we can hold an annual get together to discuss improvements, future ideas, and club activity.
| Finding rides in your area, getting to know the organisers, forwarding ride dates to the main office. |
| Getting in touch with local equine businesses to promote FunridesUK, they might be Funrider's too! |
| Speaking to riders who enjoy participating or who would like to participate in Funrides. |
| Attending events and interviewing riders, taking photos and writing up reports for the Website. |
| Keep in regular contact with the office with any news and idea’s preferably once every month |

There is no closing date, suitable applicants will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. We will respond to every application whether successful or not. Interviews will be done on the phone or in person, depending on location.
We must stress that this is a voluntary position. Both you and people joining the club will be asked to sign a disclaimer, in understanding that they are responsible for themselves and their horse when participating in activities the club or FunridesUK hold. We will not take any responsibility for any injury or damage occurred through participation of FunridesUK activities.
As FunridesUK grows we shall endeavour to seek insurance cover for the clubs and other related work to FunridesUK.
As a representative we will expect you to act with professionalism and care and will not appreciate people who cause disruption and/or a bad name towards the company. We have the right to ask any representative to step down from their position at any time and reason.
