SUNDAY 6th APRIL 2008 - V.W.H. Hunt Funr Cross Country Ride
At Ablington, Bibury. Now in its 23rd successful year, the ride will be approximately 10 miles along the Winson and Bibury valleys - over some of the most beautiful grassland in the Cotswolds. It will include at least 40 jumps suitable for the novice, with additional jumps for more experienced horses. (Total 80+ fences). This is not a race and time does not count but there will be a limit of two hours for completing the course. No start times will be given. You may start any time between 10.30 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. All jumps are optional but only two attempts are allowed at each. A way round all jumps will be provided. Riders may drop out en route but must report to the Secretary at the finish. The course will be ridden in pairs or small family groups. Refreshments Available, Paramedics and Vet on course, Photographer on site. Reduction for early entries - to be received by Wed 2nd April 2008. Adults £16.00 14 and under £10.00. Entries on the day Adults £20.00 14 and under £12.00. Entry fee includes vet & paramedic's costs

11th May - Bluebell ride
Bluebell Fun Ride, A beautiful ride through picturesque woods with exceptional views (weather permitting!!)mainly on private land (very small amount of road work) with optional jumps en-route. This ride will suit riders of all ages and abilities. Start is 2 miles from J2 M50.
